About Me

Ashley Bradshaw is an emerging abstract expressionist based in Lehi, Utah. A 2019 graduate of Lehigh Charter School for the Performing Arts and a current student at Utah’s Visual Art Institute, she explores the interplay of color, texture, and movement as a visceral form of emotional expression. Her work is deeply intuitive, guided by a commitment to experimentation and a willingness to embrace unconventional materials and ideas.

Through an evolving practice, Ashley continues to refine a distinct artistic voice—one that invites interpretation, connection, and an unfiltered sense of presence. Her work is held in private collections and has been exhibited in community shows throughout Utah.

My Approach

My work is rooted in a deep, lifelong need for expression. I view my practice as inherently somatic, where marks emerge from an intuitive, internal place. With a passion for both visual and performing arts, I draw from a wide range of influences, embracing art as a universal language above all else. Through each piece, I strive to give physical form to the immaterial—moments, emotions, and sensations that live within my mind and body. Inspired by the infinite interpretations abstract work invites, I hope that in connecting with my art, I can in some way connect with those who experience it.
