WHITE NOISE
White Noise is the third piece in an ongoing series exploring sound therapy and the contrast between calm and clarity. The painting was built from a black foundation and developed through multiple layered applications of texture, color, and gesture. Embedded throughout the surface are fragments of handwritten releases and manifestations — personal reflections that were torn, collaged, and integrated into the work. The act of layering them mirrors the emotional experience of white noise: an accumulation of inner noise, quieting, and reorganization. This piece aims to symbolize not just the visual texture of white noise, but also its emotional and conceptual weight — the feeling of processing, tuning out, and tuning in.
It is not about absence, but accumulation: what’s been let go, what’s rising to the surface, and the static that exists in between
